The Rebuild: Matthew 5-7નમૂનો

Have you ever considered that one of the promises of the gospel is access to peace from the anxieties that come with living in our broken world? How much more joy would we experience if we held this promise before our hearts each day?
The gospel, the good news of Jesus’ perfect life, sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection, does not promise to give us food or clothing or enough money to buy that dream home. However, when we realise that in the gospel we have an ever greater peace that stems from an abiding knowledge of what Jesus has done in reconciling us to the Father, those things begin to pale in comparison.
This is part of the “peace which surpasses all understanding” which Paul writes about in Philippians 4:7. Be reminded today that God has reconciled you to Himself through Christ’s finished work on the Cross, and may that bring you great peace.
Today, ponder this: How can you lean into God's peace today? How can you experience the reality of not being anxious for tomorrow? Fix your eyes on the promises of the gospel! Ask the Father to make His promises precious to you and take joy in the release from anxiety.
About this Plan

“You have heard it said…” In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus begins to rebuild and reform our understanding of life in His Kingdom. In Matthew 5-7, He challenges the religious traditions of His day and the competing worldviews of our own. His words are a call to transformation—a new way to live under His reign. As Jesus lays the foundation for His Kingdom, we are invited to tear down false beliefs and build our lives on His truth.
