Qualifying to Work With God (Criteria for Divine Partnership)નમૂનો
LET YOUR WAYS PLEASE THE LORD, ALWAYS
God is going to walk with the man whose ways please the Lord. There is a difference between your way and your act, just like there is a difference between the ways of the Lord and the acts of the Lord. When the Bible talks about a man's ways, it talks about his reasons and motives, what drives and pushes him, and why he does what he does. A lot of times, we see good things being done wrongly.
When John said to the master, 'Let us call fire down on these people,' the Lord responded, 'You don't know which spirit you are of.' This signifies that what John intended to do might have been commendable, but it wouldn't have been done in the spirit of Jesus. The Lord is more concerned with the spirit with which you do things for Him, not just what you do. Therefore, aligning our ways with the Lord's is crucial, as this will inspire and motivate us to act in His spirit.
In Matt. 7:22-23 the Lord said, “Many will say to me on that day, we have cast out devils in your name, we have done many mighty works in your name,” and God will say to them, Depart from me ye workers of iniquity; I never knew you!” The word for "knew" there is the word I never approved of you, so it means that they have been doing things that He didn't approve of. They didn't bother to find out whether He approved their actions. You could do things that impress men, and they think it is wonderful, and it may not be in God's motives and for His own reasons.
PRAYER: Father, I receive divine schooling to promote your ways above your acts and to know your ways more and more daily.
