Lead Or Be Lunch: The Power Of Earning Influence

DAY 10 OF 10

What you hold in your hands are the seeds of your future. God will take what's in your hand and use it to change the world but you must be ALL IN. Halfway in isn't enough and it never will be. When we use what we have in our hand we are being faithful and industrious. We are focusing our efforts on our life-goals and God's calling. What God has put in your hand is your key to unlocking your destiny.

The Bible says, "God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well" (Romans 12:6). Paul emphasized that we're to actually use these gifts and abilities God has given us for the benefit of others. Some people say, "I don't know what to do," or "I don't really have any special talent to give." Moses said pretty much the same thing when God spoke to him at the burning bush, "I'm a nobody." How did God answer? "Moses, what is in your hand?" For Moses, it was a staff. It wasn't a crown, scepter, or sword. It was a simple stick. And it became one of the greatest supernatural weapons in human history. So what do you already have in your possession? Speaking ability? Artistic ability? Money? People skills? All of us have something we can use to accomplish what we've set out to do but we must be ALL IN!

Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." He wasn't wrong. Everything you need to flourish is in you already. Trust the blessings you're holding and use them to propel you forward. You have dreams, aspirations and a vision for your future. You wouldn't be reading this book if you didn't. So are you ready to get off the bench? My best advice to you is this, take inventory of the resources in your hand and stop fear dead in its tracks by getting off the bench and back in to the game! Nothing can stop you but you.

About this Plan

Lead Or Be Lunch: The Power Of Earning Influence

This plan is based on David Villa’s upcoming book “Lead or Be Lunch” which explains the power of earning influence. Some leaders may force their influence upon others, but true leaders understand you must earn influence. As a Christian, God wants us to influence the masses in ways that helps us lead others to Him. Will you open yourself up and become the leader God designed you to be?
