Promises for the Journeyનમૂનો
God created you for a purpose
If you Google “help me find my purpose,” you will get over 1.6 billion results. This is a good indicator that people recognize there is more to life than just going to work, paying bills, and making money. This is not only true for the billions of people searching, this is true for you.
There are three things I want you to recognize today:
- You are original and unique.
- There is only one of you.
- This is not by accident, it is by design.
Have you ever considered that of the billions of people who ever lived on this planet, each one has a unique fingerprint? Their fingerprint belongs only to them. No two people share the same fingerprint. The same is true for you. You are God’s fingerprint, and no two are the same.
God designed you just the way you are. He placed gifts, talents, ideas, and abilities in you because he has a purpose for your life. Another way of saying it is you are here on mission, not by mistake.
Consider Psalm 139:13-16 (NLT):
You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
If that’s not enough to convince you, then consider this verse from Ephesians 2:10 (NLT):
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
These verses speak of mission, intention, and purpose.
You are God’s fingerprint, created with attention to detail and created anew in Christ because God has a specific plan for your life. This is who you are; as you walk through today, don’t forget it.
Affirmation - I am a unique, original, handcrafted masterpiece created by God. He has created me anew in Christ so I can accomplish all the good things he has planned for me.
