Pure Decisions Create Pure Powerનમૂનો
Producing pure fruit.
As believers, our lives are to produce fruit. The Book of Acts says we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. The ability to activate God's principles leads to a life that produces the fruits of the Spirit.
Are we giving love in our relationships? Do we enjoy life? Are people experiencing peace in our presence as we carry His peace? Are we operating in patience, kindness, goodness? Are we faithful? Do we have self-control?
We are blessed when we hunger and thirst for righteousness. The right way of doing things, the way God has ordained them to be. There is a power and flow that comes when operating in purity.
We can do the right thing but not have pure intentions.
Luke 15: 11-32 is the story most commonly known as the Prodigal Son. The son who stayed with the father did the right thing but not with pure intentions leading him to be just as lost as the other son, not realizing all he had was right in front of him. We can do a good deed without pure intentions. Ask yourself, "Am I really doing good?" God looks at our heart, and without the purity and seeking to honor God with it, we labor in vain.
Lord, Thank you for the stories and testimonies in Your Word that are there to enlighten me. As I read and understand what fruit my life should produce, I pray you will give me the strength to remove the weeds of the world and the flesh and start producing the fruits of The Spirit. Help me not do "good things" with impure intentions, and consistently seek to honor you in everything I think, say, and do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
About this Plan
