Our lives on earth are temporary and all our efforts to build our "kingdoms" here are futile. This world and its glories are passing away and another Kingdom will be established that will not work according to the present order of things.
But God, in His great wisdom, has made it such that life in that World begins in this one.
Can we look back and thank God for all the blessings that made this life easier?
Can we look forward to the life that is to come and live as mere sojourners and aliens on our way home?
About this Plan
If there is one thing we all know, it is that our lives in this world will have a great impact on our lives in the world to come. In these excerpts of C.S. Lewis' writings, he makes a strong contention, as Paul does in the Bible, that keeping our eyes and minds on Eternity can greatly impact how we live out our lives on Earth.
