Paul sounds as if he treasured Christ so much, that He looked forward to being with Him with an almost childlike excitement. And it was precisely this that made Him the kind of man that was invaluable to the Church of his age and every age since. 

Do you yearn to be united with Christ?

Is being with Christ, your heart's deepest longing? 

Unless we are able to truly say "to die is gain",  we will not be able to truly say "to live is Christ".
