Reflecting the Refiner in Businessનમૂનો
The Pure In Heart See God
Part of being pure in heart is laying down your will, your plans, your heart, and even your light, right at the feet of Jesus. When you do, it's an invitation to God: “Refine me. Show me my heart. Show me how to be more like You. Give me Your eyes in this situation. Give me Your ears in this situation. Help me reflect more of who You are in this situation.” As an entrepreneur, you will have opportunities to do this on a regular basis because you have to deal with people, deal with challenges, make important operational and strategic decisions.
Jesus Christ revealed a powerful truth to His disciples in what is known as the Beatitudes, part of His sermon on the mountainside. He provided a compelling reason to maintain purity of heart and intent -- to see more of God. Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." This scripture in The Passion Translation says, "What bliss you experience when your heart is pure for then your eyes will open to see more and more of God."
When you study the original text, the word “see” is not a casual observation, it is to behold something remarkable with wide-open eyes. The word “blessed” means spiritually prosperous with life, joy, and satisfaction in God's favor and His salvation, regardless of outward conditions. Consider the beauty of this truth as a Kingdom entrepreneur, operating a business with a pure heart. You have the glorious opportunity on a daily basis to submit yourself to Him in all sincerity and say “Lord, I just want to see you.” You will see God move, see His heart, see how He operates. You will see Him in all His remarkable splendor.
