The Right Responseનમૂનો
It’s Time to Do Good
Tough times will reveal our true strength; the strength we have in our relationships, business, financial, faith, mental, spiritual, and many more. Jesus teaches us two kinds of foundation in Matthew 7: one house is built on the rock and the other one is built on the sand. The rain, the streams, and the wind will come eventually and reveal our true strength.
Instead of sitting down, until we’re drowned in boredom, and keep wondering about uncertain things (like, “When will all of this end?”), why not start to exercise our strength?
Strength is for service. If we now have extra time, we can use it to care and pray for others and look for ways to help them. If we are financially stable, we can send food or other necessities to those who are in need. We can even share God’s Word to encourage them! Find joy and happiness in all kinds of giving because we are bringing goodness into other people’s life.
While maintaining physical distance during the pandemic is important, it doesn’t mean we have to isolate ourselves from the world. We all wish this hard time to end soon, but now we’re still in it, take it as an opportunity to fly high like an eagle. Keep creating, keep innovating, and keep coming out with fresh brilliant ideas for the sake of others. Juice flows out of an orange when it is squeezed, and the taste can either be sour or sweet. I believe it is sweetness that will come out of your life as you face the pressures in your life.
Always look for ways to use our strength to serve others. Show God’s love and do good without expecting anything in return. Cultivate your empathy for others. Be selfless. Let God use us to make a difference in this world.
Pray
Father in heaven, I am grateful because You never lose sight of my condition until this very day. I know You will never leave me and always be by my side. Open my eyes to see the needs of others who are lonely, confused, grieved, and sick. I believe that You will bless us and move us. Your face shines on us, You are gracious to us and give us Your peace. In the name of Jesus, amen.
About this Plan
It never crossed anyone’s mind to be living in a world that’s fighting a pandemic. Giving the right response will help us not only survive, but also thrive and become a better version of ourselves once this pandemic ends. For the next five days, learn how to guard your faith, focus on God’s goodness, listen to the Holy Spirit, do good, and build yourself as you look up to God.
