Fear Busters (Week 4)

DAY 5 OF 7

Day Five - We can tell others about Jesus.

Hello mini Fearbusters? How are you all doing? Are you having fun following our journey with the Fear Busters?

READ

‘Jesus Teaches on a Mountain’ in the Beginner's Bible (Pages 318 to 321) or in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus is teaching people on the mountain and telling them that they do not need to worry about anything!

This week we have been learning that we don't need to worry about anything!  In our Bible story it tells us that ‘all sorts of people went to see Jesus, children, mothers, fathers, grandma’s and grandpa’s, they all wanted to hear what Jesus was teaching’.

There are probably people in all of our lives that maybe don’t know Jesus?  Or haven’t heard about Jesus?  But did you know that Jesus knows them, just like He knows us!  Jesus loves everyone and wants everyone to be part of His big family.  He wants children, mothers, fathers, grandma’s and grandpa’s all to know about Him and He wants them all to be His friend, just like you are.

Jesus loves it when we are able to tell others about how good He is.  We can share Jesus in the way that we love people, because Jesus is love!

ASK:

Maybe you and your grown up can think of some creative ways to share Jesus’ love with those around you?  REMEMBER:

“So what should we say about this? If God is for us, then no one can defeat us.”  (Romans 8:31 ICB)

SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:

You are bigger than my fears. You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you! This sickness just won't do, we tell it now to QUIT. We've had enough of it!

About this Plan

Fear Busters (Week 4)

Welcome to Week 4 of FearBusters! In this devotional series, we're looking at overcoming fear through Jesus. When we're surrounded by illness and uncertainty, we can keep our eyes fixed on Him! This week we're learning that God is for us. We'll be looking at the story of Jesus teaching on a Mountain and learning our memory verse in Romans 8:31.
