Fear Busters (Week 4)

DAY 3 OF 7

Day Three - God provides for me.

Hello mini Fearbusters? How are you all doing? Are you having fun following our journey with the Fear Busters?

READ

‘Jesus Teaches on a Mountain’ in the Beginner's Bible (Pages 318 to 321) or in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus is teaching people on the mountain and telling them that they do not need to worry about anything!

Matthew 6:26 tells us to look at the birds in the air. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns. But your Heavenly Father feeds the birds. And you know that you are worth so much more than the birds.”  Jesus is telling us that God cares about you, that we can trust God to give us everything we need to get through this season.

Sometimes we may forget this and worry about the things we think we need.  We may feel scared or unsure of some things that are happening in and around us.  We can remember this story and the message that God Provides for me!

ASK:

What are some of the things you can tell God about right now?

What are some of the things that you may like to ask God for right now?

Spend some time today talking to God about these things, He wants to hear from you.

REMEMBER:

“So what should we say about this? If God is for us, then no one can defeat us.”  (Romans 8:31 ICB)

Remember we can say our Fearbuster Prayer when we feel frightened or scared!

SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:

You are bigger than my fears. You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you! This sickness just won't do, we tell it now to QUIT. We've had enough of it!
