Book of Nehemiah નમૂનો
THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD
During the Israelite's captivity, no one ever spoke the word of God to them. Therefore, when Ezra re-read the Torah, their hearts were deeply touched and they even mourned. They were awakened to their sin and disobedience. When they were all crying, Nehemiah advised them to rejoice. Nehemiah's counsel is based on the correct concept that the more we realize how sinful we are before God, the more joyful we are for God's forgiveness.
The repentance of the entire nation of Israel was the first step for the nation's reform. Further steps to be taken were family leaders and spiritual leaders studying the Torah with Ezra. This action was important because one of the causes of Israel's exile was the fault and sin of the nation's leaders.
The right step produces an effective and refreshing spiritual fruit that re-awakens us to the word of God. The longing to know God through His word is the proper reflection of repentance. Through this event we can see the reformation of a nation that begins with the Word of God and its continued study. The Word, as the foundation, and The Word as the material of further development.
As 2 Timothy 3:16 NLT says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."
The word of God is able to lead and guide us to the right path.
