We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 120 of 365
In Psalm 23, David paints a picture of profound peace in God’s presence, declaring, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” This assurance comes from knowing that God leads, provides, and protects us as our faithful Shepherd. The Holy Spirit draws us into this same peace, teaching us to rest in God’s care, even in life’s valleys. God’s presence is our refuge, a place where we are fully safe, seen, and loved.
In Luke 21, Jesus speaks of trials and hardships, but He assures His followers that God will be with them, even in adversity. The Spirit reminds us that peace is not found in the absence of challenges but in the certainty of God’s presence within them. When we focus on God’s faithfulness, we find the courage to persevere with hope.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with God’s peace. Surrender any anxieties or burdens to Him, trusting that your Shepherd leads you with love and wisdom. Allow His presence to quiet your soul, filling you with the peace that comes from knowing you are never alone, guided by the One who holds all things together.
