How do you react when you are going through a hard time? Maybe you try to pretend you aren’t feeling what you’re feeling, or you lash out in anger, or you simply sink into sadness. We all have ways of coping with feelings when life gets tough. In today’s verse, Isaiah reminds us that when we feel like we can’t take anymore, God is there. God is bigger than anything we are going through. Even more, Isaiah tells us that, because of God’s resilience, we can run to God to process our life’s hardships, knowing God can handle them. 

Today, if you start to feel overwhelmed with what you may be facing, remember that even if you grow weary or weak, God does not. Go to God for strength, comfort, and direction.
