Family.fit: In God We Live and MoveMuestra
We are accountable for the opportunity of life
v 31 “He has set a day when he will judge the world fairly.”
1. Get active
Superman roll
Everyone takes turns to roll in the superman position from one side of the room to the other while carrying a cup. Roll without your hands and feet touching the floor. Continue as you build a tower of cups. Choose the size of the tower by the number of cups you use.
See video of Superman roll:
2. Rest and talk
How have you lived up to your own values this last week? Score yourself out of 10.
(1-not at all well, 10-perfect)
3. Read Acts 17:29-31
4. Discuss
- Talk about what it means to "turn away from your sins." Reflect silently on what this means for you.
- How can we have confidence in knowing God will judge us fairly?
- How does this word "fairly" make you feel?
Chat to God: Thank you Lord that you have given us this life and that you are just and fair. Help us to use this extraordinary life well. Sorry for when we have sinned and not used the opportunities you’ve given us to the full.
God is just. God is also merciful. None of us can stand before a holy God on our own merits. We’re all broken. We all sin! Thankfully God had a solution where His justice and mercy meet. Can you guess what this is?
