A Proverbs 31 Warrior's Creed

DAY 4 OF 4

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. Proverbs 31:16 (KJV)

The field is synonymous with the world (Matthew 13:38; John 4:35). Matthew 13:38 (NKJV) says, “The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.”

A Proverbs 31 warrior seeks to advance God’s kingdom in and outside the home—souls must be won and discipled at home and outside the home. We must consider those playgrounds, our workplaces, grocery stores, mom groups, communities, cities, states, nations, and continents as the fields we need to buy, that is, take possession of for God’s kingdom to be established. The fruit of our hands turns the field (the world) into a vineyard where Jesus, the Vine, is welcome (John 15:5). We bring the influence of Jesus into a place through the fruit of righteousness powered by the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 11:18 (NKJV) says, “The wicked man does deceptive work, but he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.” The kingdom of heaven, or the influence of Jesus, is the vineyard we plant through righteousness. It involves laboring in prayer, evangelizing, and other spiritual investments that lead people to Christ and establish them in the faith. We must be about our Father’s business and guide our loved ones to sow into the Spirit with us. Consider these practices in your quest to advance God's kingdom:

  • Use the map of the world or your nation’s map to guide your family to pray for nations to become open to the gospel of Jesus.
  • Carry your children along when engaging in soul-winning outreaches.
  • Turn vacations into local and international mission trips.

Meditate by declaring these with all your heart at least 100 times today: I AM A FRUITFUL BRANCH. I MAKE SPIRITUAL INVESTMENTS.

We hope you were empowered! Explore the Proverbs 31 Warriors Creed and join the community.
