A Proverbs 31 Warrior's CreedSample

She layeth her hands to the spindle, And her hands hold the distaff. Proverbs 31:19 (KJV)
Exodus 35:24-26 (NKJV) says: "Everyone who offered an offering of silver or bronze brought the Lord’s offering. And everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. All the women who were gifted artisans spun yarn with their hands and brought what they had spun, of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen. And all the women whose hearts stirred with wisdom spun yarn of goats’ hair."
The products derived from hand spinning with the distaff and spindle were used for beautifying the temple and clothing the priests. A Proverbs 31 warrior serves in God’s house. She is a responsible church member who is intentional about serving God’s people, and fellow priests in the royal priesthood. Ephesians 4:11-14 (KJV) says, "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting."
As a member of the royal priesthood and body of Christ, a Proverbs 31 warrior is equipped for service and participates in the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry. A Proverbs 31 woman spiritually beautifies the body of Christ through her financial resources, raising godly children, ministering to other women, and equipping the saints. As we serve God’s people, we actively participate in creating a space where our families can receive spiritual, social, and emotional support. "For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)
Reflect:
Assess your discipleship skills and church involvement. Are you serving, and why are you serving in the church? How are you supporting the spiritual growth of women in your sphere of influence?
