An Emotional Event
No matter where we find ourselves in life, we will encounter a different perspective on just about everything. In today’s scripture reading, we find a highly emotional event that several characters are in including Jesus. He proclaimed to Martha that he was the resurrection and the life. After Mary spoke to Jesus and he observed the weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled. Jesus wept. Two observations were made: one was questioning why Jesus could not have kept Lazarus from dying. The other view saw how much love Jesus expressed. How about you? How do you view Jesus? Is He the Son of God full of great love or someone who should do signs and miracles? Your answer will reveal the relationship you have with Jesus.
Prayer: Thank you Jesus for Your great love. May Your love be poured out on my relatives, friends, and co-workers so that they may know You. Thank You for loving me, dying for me, and giving me eternal life. Amen.
