Walking In Blessing
“Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.” – Psalm 119:1
The start of this psalm, the start of the Hebrew alphabet (aleph) begins with a statement of blessing for those committed to God’s instruction. For the next 176 verses, the psalmist expands on this theme --- the importance of God’s laws, statues, wisdom, word, decrees, commands and promises. Walking with God is truly a place of blessing!
Prayer: Father God, I’m so thankful for your Word today. How could I live without it? It truly gives me light on my path; strength for each new day. But help me not to be simply a reader; help me apply the truths to my life, walk in your way, and be a true disciple. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
