Your body is incredible. God made it to have big parts, like arms and legs, and small parts, like ears and fingernails. He created your hair to be the perfect color and texture. And even though about 50 to 100 hairs fall off your head every day, the Bible says that God knows exactly how many you have at every single moment (Matthew 10:30)!

Your body is also made of millions and millions of parts that are too small to see. Your tiny cells are filled with even tinier DNA. DNA is a recipe that comes from your parents and determines what you look like and how your body works. Each person’s DNA is one of a kind, including yours, which means there will never be another person exactly like you.

Did you know that you have enough itty-bitty DNA pieces in your body that if you lined them up next to each other, they could stretch from the Earth to the edge of the solar system seven times? That’s so far!

When God knit you together, he saw every single piece of your DNA and put it in the exact right spot to make you you. He can see the parts of you that you can’t even see, and he loves every part of you.
