Day 7: Intercession Prayer is not selfish. In James 5:16, we are encouraged to pray for one another and to confess our sins to one another so that we may be healed. Intercession in prayer is a powerful way to show love and care for others. When we intercede on behalf of others, we are bringing their needs before God and asking Him to intervene in their lives. Intercession involves standing in the gap for others and lifting them up in prayer. It requires us to put aside our own desires and concerns and focus on the needs of others. As we intercede, we are not only helping others, but we are also drawing closer to God and aligning our hearts with His. Through intercession, we can see God's hand at work in the lives of those we pray for. We can witness healing, restoration, and transformation take place as we lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer. So, let us make it a daily practice to intercede for others, and let us trust in God's faithfulness to answer our prayers according to His perfect will.
