Day 2: Humility Prayer requires humility. Humility and prayer go hand in hand in the life of a believer. Humility is the foundation of our relationship with God, and it is only through humility that we can approach Him in prayer. James 4:10 says, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up." This verse reminds us that true humility is necessary for a healthy and vibrant prayer life. Humility involves acknowledging our own limitations and weaknesses, and recognizing our need for God's help and guidance. When we come before God in prayer, we must do so with a humble and contrite heart. We should not approach Him with arrogance or pride, but with a spirit of humility and reverence. As we humble ourselves before God, He promises to lift us up and exalt us in due time. So let us remember the importance of humility in our prayers. Let us come before God with a heart that is willing to submit to His will, and a mind that is open to His leading. As we humble ourselves before Him, He will hear our prayers and answer them according to His perfect plan and purpose. Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to humble myself before you.
