As we cultivate our identity in Christ, embrace our unique design, and begin to walk with God in the calling He has entrusted to us—God supernaturally aligns us with the ideas, opportunities, resources, and relationships we need. This isn’t something we have to beg or compete for. It’s the natural outflow of our relationship with Him. God would never give us a vision without empowering us with everything we need to accomplish it. Of course not! He's the God of more than enough. More than we can think or imagine! He gives us eyes to see, ears to hear, and the ability to recognize times and seasons. He brings the right people to the right place at the right time. Instead of striving to make things happen on our own or living with a scarcity-based poverty mentality—God provides everything we need in abundance.

Remember, years ago when people wrote checks for just about everything? As a young man, I remember being amazed that you could pay someone with a slip of paper, rather than having to give them actual money! How could this be? The check alone was not currency, nor did it have any inherent value. It was just a slip of paper. But here’s the secret. What makes a check valuable isn’t the paper, it’s the promise of the person writing the check. The promise that says they can be trusted to cover the debt when the check is cashed.

In the same way, God has given you everything you need for this life to live, grow, and thrive. It’s like He’s written you a check, through His Word, to give you everything you need in this life. And you can absolutely take that check to the bank because God is faithful. He does what He says He will do, every time. And you receive what He’s promised by faith. As you believe and act upon God’s promises, you will be empowered with the supernatural ability to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom. What you need for this life doesn’t come through begging God or merely hoping things will change. It comes through your firm belief in the promises of God and your faith-filled steps of obedience.

God also aligns us through His process of refinement. Throughout our journey, the Father will allow circumstances to challenge our old mindsets and way of living. This is the Father's way of showing us what we need to let go of to step fully into His very best. Your choice to cooperate or resist these moments of refining will have a major impact on how fast you’ll grow in the Kingdom.

“Father, thank you that you have given me everything I need to live, grow, and thrive as your child in your Kingdom. Through your precious promises, I have need of nothing. Thank you, Jesus, that you did all the work on the cross to restore me to the fullness of your Kingdom and that all I must do now is simply receive. Lord, I receive by faith, every good thing you have for me today. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.”
