God's Plan for Living: A Simple Roadmap for Your IDEAL Kingdom LifeSample
When you think of the word masterpiece, images of great historical artworks may come to mind. But, that’s how your heavenly Father sees you right now: as His masterpiece. You may not be used to thinking of yourself that way, but God does. He sees you as complete, whole, and beautifully unique in Christ. Fully able to reveal and reflect His image to others. Even still, it’s easy to downplay your uniqueness in God’s Kingdom when it seems everyone, including Satan, is trying to get you to reject who God created you to be.
The original word used for masterpiece comes from the root word, poéma which is where we get the word poem. Think of that! You are designed as a poem. The unique creative expression of God to reveal and release His nature in the world! When you embrace your unique divine design, you come into agreement with all God has planned for you as His child, including all the grace, favor, and momentum to walk it out. But without embracing your unique design, gifts, and graces, you forfeit God's plans for your life and often operate in comparison, shame, fear, and manipulation. You settle for the mundane life of a religious clone.
As God’s children, we reflect Him on the earth with our unique perspective—how we see the world, others, and all that’s possible in this life. God has filled each of us with gifts and graces to further expand our capacity for both influence and fulfillment. His purpose for each of us is to bear His image to others and be an ambassador of Kingdom transformation in the world. Once you embrace who God says you are—your new identity in Christ—the uniqueness with which He’s designed you will reflect God’s unique nature to all who encounter you. Instead of trying to be like everyone else, you focus on becoming the real you.
Prayer
“Father, thank you that you created me as your unique poem to reveal and reflect your image to others in the world. Thank you that when you made me, you called me good. And you still do today. Thank you that you have planned an incredible life for me in your Kingdom. Things so good, I can’t even begin to imagine what they look like. But I trust you because you’re a good Father. You love me, you are with me, and you promise never to leave me. Thank you for my uniqueness in you today, in Jesus’ name, amen.”
