Sweat-Less, Rest-More Victory
Every day, we have the opportunity to live in worry, anger, dejection and misery, or choose to stay purposely in His rest and let His peace and joy flood our hearts.
Of course, we’d rather choose the latter. But how do we do this? It’s simple, really. As we practice His presence, love Him in worship, soak in His Word, and become aware that He is with us, in us and for us, we learn to live in His shelter. His shadow becomes our hiding place from the chaos of the world.
Hiding ourselves in the secret place of His presence, allows us to enter His rest and access His loving provision, which He has prepared for us. We tap into His strength, His wisdom, His direction and all that we need for today, which He has already made available to us in the Heavenly realms in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
That’s how we can rest and let Him work. For the battle is not ours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15).
When our Heavenly Father fights every battle we face, we can be assured that we will win every single time! We are more than conquerors. We win battles effortlessly, without sweat!
Now if that’s what you believe, you have nothing to worry about. You are covered. He’s got your back. You can actually laugh in the face of trouble and even have fun today! Isn’t that amazing?
Prayer
Father, I choose You and give You my day. Let me hide in Your presence and let me overflow in Your rest and joy as I live today as an overcomer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being.
