Precious Moments That Count For EternitySample
The Power to Get Wealth
In Genesis1:26-28, God created Adam and gave him dominion and authority over everything that He had created. The God of Heaven is not a poor God. The Bible says that all gold and silver are His (Haggai 2:8) and the cattle on a thousand hills are His (Psalm 50:10).
It is the same God who promises us that producing anything, not only wealth, is within our capacity because it is He who gives us the ability, knowledge and wisdom to create and recreate it.
Ability means ‘the possession of the means or skill to do something’. So what does this God-given ability do for us in our present times?
As working professionals, we get wisdom to work diligently, more than others in our offices. We end up giving suggestions and reports to the management, that not many in the office do, thus leading to our promotion. Our company prospers, because we are part of the company.
Academically, we shine brighter than many other students. God gives us the ability to study well and retain all that we have studied. The name of our schools and colleges shine because God has put us in that place.
As business people, we get divine ideas, which we convert into actions and ultimately profits get generated beyond our human thinking.
God’s covenant of blessing was with Abraham and his descendants (Genesis 12:1-3,17:4, 26:13) and with us, who through Christ, are heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).
Today, we have the right to be successful and prosperous in all things, because God had promised Abraham and God never backs out of His promises. All we need to do is to believe God’s Word, confess and see the promises come to pass as we work diligently.
Prayer
Father, I thank You that Your promises are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ in Christ Jesus. I believe that I have divine understanding and wisdom to create wealth in every aspect of my life because You have given me the ability to do it. Keep me in You at all times, I pray. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
