Numbers 9:21-23
“…Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out. Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in the camp and not set out; but when it lifted they would set out. At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.”

Does the presence of the Lord still guide us as it did Moses and the Israelites?

We have been given God’s name, his word and his glory, (John 17). We have been given the Holy Spirit who fills all who ask. We have so much more than the Israelites had as they traveled through the Sinai.

Are we listening to and responding to the leading, prompting and guidance of the Holy Spirit?

Are we orientating our lives around the priority of the presence of the Lord?

Lord Jesus, thank you for your presence through the Spirit this day. Guide and lead as I follow your counsel, word and promptings this day, for your glory.
