Our Redeemer
Psalm 107:1-2, 13
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say this – those he redeemed from the hand of the foe….Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and he saved them from their distress.”
Isaiah 63:16
“…you O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.”
Throughout history God has saved, delivered and rescued those who cried out to Him. He is our Redeemer! The humility required to cry out to God usually only comes through desperate circumstances that are beyond our ability or strength to change. In His love, God makes Himself known to us as we cry out to Him.
Where have you seen God’s saving power or His deliverance in your Life?
When have you seen Him redeem what looked like an impossible situation, and create a doorway of hope?
Job 19:25
“Our Redeemer lives!”
Lord Jesus, you are my Redeemer. You have delivered me from death and rescued me from the hand of my enemy. Thank you for your love for me today.
