Sow Generously
During the time of my illness I was walking in our neighborhood with my husband, and the walk required all the strength I could muster. After we came back from our walk and I was resting, I tried to breathe in air for four counts. My lungs were too weak to do so. All I could think was, “God, I know You are able.”
From the time God called me into ministry, I have prayed for people to be healed. I’ve prayed for spiritual healing, physical healing, and emotional healing, believing that God is well able to perform it at any given time. I believe today I am reaping a harvest from what I have sown praying for healing for others. I’ve often wondered what would have happened had I not used the gifts I’d been given.
In my heart, even through the time fighting illness, I felt that I had much more to give, much more to live for, and much more to pay forward. I know that I have received a bountiful harvest from the Lord. I’ve been given a second chance in life. His kindness is unmerited, His love endless, and His grace a free gift.
Do not wait. Perform those acts of kindness today, paying it forward and living your life free of regret.
Intentional Living:
- Be a blessing because you’ve been given blessings
- Share not only your wealth but also your spiritual gifts and talents
- Expect increase and pay forward
- Know that God gives the seed and He multiplies it so as to use it for His glory
