MONEY IS A TEST

Yes, money is a test. In fact, it's a test of trustworthiness. There is a direct correlation between your character and how you handle money. In both Matthew 25 and Luke 16, Jesus said He will judge how we handle what is given to us.

Money is a material thing with a spiritual essence, and it can either propel us forward or stagnate us. For example, in Matthew 25 the servants who multiplied their talents received promotion, approval, and more talents (more money). In Luke 16, we see that for good stewards, administrative competence was linked to spiritual rewards. Here Jesus affirms that if we are not able to manage material resources well, we will not receive spiritual resources to manage. That means that though there are spiritual resources available right now, bad administrators unfortunately will not receive them. This is why many people do not grow in their spiritual influence.

Money and possessions are very spiritual. If we pass the test of handling them, God will promote us to new levels of revelation, growth, and influence. I pray that each of us passes this test so that we can fulfill our spiritual mission in this world. Pass the test! Defeat Mammon! Walk in your spiritual destiny!

Remember: Money is a test of trustworthiness. If you pass the test, you will receive influence in all areas of life. A person who handles money well is promoted by God.
