Underground Believersنموونە
The beauty of the Gospel is that it is open to everyone! Isaiah 49:5-6 tells us Jesus Christ shall be Salvation to the ends of the earth, and not just for one people group. His sacrifice was not only sufficient for Israel, but for each and every Gentile outside of His chosen people. Our God has united us not only to Himself through Jesus, but also to each other. We are all equals!
We are all fully forgiven, fully empowered by the Holy Spirit, fully able to love with the love of Christ, and fully accepted by God under the saving power of Christ! The Gospel brings unity like nothing else can. Consider Sami a Palestinian, and Aaron a Jew, raised on opposite sides in the midst of a conflict. There were physical fences between them. But the barriers between them were spiritual ones.
Brought up in different religions. Always hating the other although never knowing anyone from the “other side.” Until an unlikely encounter with Christ that neither was expecting changed their lives. They both became sons of God through their new faith in Jesus Christ, therefore brothers. When the Lord allowed their paths to cross, each was eager to speak of Jesus assuming the other did not know of Him. Even though they were enemies because of their heritage! The joy was sweet once they discovered they had become brothers, united to each other through their faith in Christ.
Are we willing to see past what are usually seen as a dividing lines? Can we reach across people groups, upbringings, social status, denominations, and seek the unity that can only come through the Truth we find in Jesus Christ? Ask the Lord to reveal barriers that you have between you and others in Jesus’ family.

About this Plan
The Bible is full of “heroes of the faith” who had to endure persecution and even death for the sake of the Gospel of Christ. In much the same way today, followers of Christ are still facing horrific persecution and even death for the sake of Christ. Find out who these underground believers are and how they are standing firm in the faith.
