Just Do It!
Today’s Bible story is about David and Goliath. You know—the little kid who defeats the giant. Classic story. But there’s so much we can take from this story.
So Goliath kept threatening the Israelites. All the trained soldiers were afraid of him, wouldn’t fight him, and ran from him every time he came by. What a bunch of wusses! It was their job! They were trained soldiers!
Well David decided enough was enough. He was young and wasn’t even a soldier, but he stepped up to Goliath and ended up defeating him.
You’re at the age now where it’s time to start to grow up and mature a little bit. Part of growing up and maturing is stepping up and doing the things you know need to be done.
God has equipped you with everything you need to do everything He’s called you to do. So if you want to grow up a little bit, then you need to step up and take on your responsibilities without making excuses—and do them to the best of your ability.
