Make Roomنموونە
Repentance leads to reception and restoration in our lives. No matter what factors of our lives need to shift, God is ready to receive us fully in his embrace and restore us to himself. As a result of restoration, we’re given four incredible gifts.
We’re given authority in the Kingdom of Heaven (symbolized in a signet ring), we’re made righteous (symbolized in a robe), we’re extended sonship through the spirit of adoption (symbolized by sandals), and we experience celebration (symbolized by a joy-filled feast).
Repentance can be a practice woven into our everyday, ordinary lives. In order to experience more of God’s goodness, we need to humbly come before God with a heart that is eager to change. God does not grow weary of the embrace of His children. He is ready to receive us and restore us.
QUESTIONS
Which components of the Father‘s compassion and embrace (found in Luke 15:22-23) would you like to experience without restriction?
Where might you be able to identify the need for restoration to God within your own life? Restoration to others?
Pray and confess Psalm 51:10-12 over your life this week. He wants to work in us so he can work through us.
