Make Roomنموونە
Another roadblock in our movement towards repentance is pain. Pain can prevent us from repentance. It may be that we desire repentance and change, but circumstances have kept us farther from God than we’d like to be. There may be a variety of life factors that seem to separate us from God or the ability to see tangible change. Some may feel that they’ve lived within certain painful constraints for so long, that change seems impossible. It often hurts to admit that amidst our brokenness that we are desperate for Him. Some of us find it hard to even admit that we need help and healing. On our best or worst days, dependency upon Christ must remain consistent. There is often pain in honesty, but acknowledgement enables us to turn back to God. God is looking for you to turn toward Him. He waits in eager expectation for our return and is filled with compassion for us.
