Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things...

Your parents tell you that they are going to bring you for a staycation at a place that has a big swimming pool and a playground. You are so happy that you start to make your own happy song. While you are getting ready, you are humming with your own melody happily. This shows how joyful you are after hearing the news!

The writer of Psalm 98 writes a new song to God because of who God is. Frankly, it will be a very long list to list down why God deserves to be praised. 

Just like God’s mercies that are new every morning, let’s be thankful and joyful for His mercies by giving Him a new love song every morning when you have your devotion and worship time.
