Clear Vision: Fulfilling What God Reveals to You by Faithنموونە
Sometimes God will use us to be a spokesperson for Him. He may give us a vision to speak to a certain person, audience, or city. I know this from experience as I speak to women through online platforms, conferences, books, and my blog. The Lord may also reveal something that is forthcoming or something that He wants us to warn people about concerning the future. God used the prophet Jeremiah to speak for Him.
God called Jeremiah before He formed him in his mother’s womb. He set him apart and appointed him to be a prophet to the nations. Now, Jeremiah didn’t feel the same way. In fact, he told the Lord that he was too young to speak for Him. Yet, God replied, “Don’t say, ‘I am too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
Wow! Amen! Have you ever felt like you were too young, inadequate, or ill-equipped to be used by the Lord? If so, I hope that you will be encouraged to know that if God calls you, He will also anoint and equip you. To drive this point home even further, when the Lord wants to use us to speak, write, warn, or encourage others, He will be with us as we fulfill the assignment.
The Lord reassured Jeremiah as He reached out and touched his mouth and told him, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth! Today, I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.” Then the Lord said, “Look, what do you see?” Jeremiah then replied, “I see a branch from an almond tree.” The Lord responded, “That’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out my plans.”
If God ever calls you to speak for Him in whatever capacity, trust that He has called you from your mother’s womb, He will be with you wherever you go, and don’t forget that He is watching and He will certainly carry out His plans.
