Clear Vision: Fulfilling What God Reveals to You by Faithنموونە
You have a purpose! That’s right. There is something that God wants to do through you to accomplish His plan. Do you know what it is, yet? Has the Lord revealed it to you? For a brief moment, let’s take a look at what God wanted to accomplish through the life of Noah.
The Bible tells us that Noah was a righteous man. He lived a blameless life and walked in close fellowship with God. Many of us are aware that one day, the Lord became very upset concerning all of the unrighteousness that was happening upon the earth, so God told Noah that He wanted him to build an ark. He then showed him a vision.
It was a vision that the Lord would cover the earth with a flood and destroy all living things. He revealed to Noah that once His plan was accomplished, He would confirm His covenant with him. Now, mind you, Noah had no idea how to build an ark. Nevertheless, God gave him detailed instructions and the tools he needed to get the job done!
I love it how when God calls us to accomplish His plan, He gives us everything we need to fulfill it. And guess what? Everyone will not always understand the vision that God has shown you. You see, while Noah was building the ark, imagine the looks on the surrounding people’s faces. For one, it had never rained before, and to build such an establishment could have appeared insane to those watching. Yet, Noah stayed focused and pressed on to fulfill the vision.
After the ark was finished and filled with Noah, his family, food, and the animals, the door was shut and the rain fell and flooded the earth. After forty days and forty nights, God confirmed His covenant with him as He promised. He told him, “Yes, I am confirming My covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth. I am giving you a sign of My covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed a rainbow in the clouds. It is a sign of My covenant with you and with all the earth.”
Again, God has a purpose for your life. Whether big or small, He has a plan. As you work towards fulfilling that plan, realize now that sometimes everyone won’t understand what God has called you to do. And that’s okay. Simply stay focused and get the job done by faith. Amen! So, what assignment has God revealed to you in this season? Are you working on it?
