Chosen for a Purpose
Whether you know it or have yet to find it, your life has a purpose. You have been chosen by God on purpose, for a purpose. Look at some of the last words Jesus spoke to His disciples before going back to heaven. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
As a disciple, follower, and chosen child of God, this statement applies to you. Jesus has called everyone who follows Him to go and make disciples of all nations. That means He has asked you to do the same thing. But since that can sound super intimidating, let’s make it simple and easy.
God has picked you not just to receive the amazing gift of eternal life. He has picked you to share that amazing news with the rest of the world. It doesn’t mean you have to wait until you are old enough to travel the world to tell people about Jesus. This call can begin today. It begins with your friends, classmates, parents, grandparents, or siblings. It starts now. Who do you need to share Jesus with?
Thanks for completing this reading plan! We pray that this helped you get connected to Jesus. We would love to hear from you on how God used this plan in your life. Keep the conversation going by emailing us at keeptalking@secc.org.
