Book of 1 Chroniclesنموونە
BECOMING ONE WITH GOD
After David succeeded in seizing victory for the people of Israel, he then distributed the territories according to the tribes of Israel. David remembered that this victory was due to God's grace upon his people. David did not forget God even though he had won many wars. We need to remember that all success comes from God.
David established priests and officers to perform worship at the tabernacle. These officers were chosen to raise praise and worship to God. God was very pleased and loved the worship and praise raised from the tabernacle.
Why do we praise and worship God? Because God likes to receive the praises and worship from His people. Everything is created by His will. He controls all that is in the heavens and the earth and we are created to be His worshipers. As we worship God, we are pulling His Spirit down to us, making us strong to face the challenges of this life.
When we worship God, we are binding and uniting ourselves to Him. Imagine, the Creator of all things together with us! Is this not wonderful? This is the secret that all men seek, to meet their Creator.
Future challenges will come, but those who are united with God will gain wisdom and strength to endure.
As we worship God, we are pulling His Spirit down to us, giving us strength for the challenges in this life.
