DAY 2 OF 12

SERVING ACCORDING TO GOD'S WAY

Everyone who serves the Lord must have the desire to be used and a life that is pleasing God's heart.

God's rules cannot be separated from the person of God. Therefore, as children of God, we need to know Him personally through His word and Spirit in order to have further understanding His mind and heart. This is very important for the one who is being called to serve Him.

Sometimes we serve God in any way we want, only for our own personal satisfaction. Have we ever contemplated for a moment that in serving Him, the main and necessary thing is His will?

God has never neglected His rules. When God explained to Moses about who, what age, and how they should do their responsibilities, God did not give them arbitrary rules, or only as a mere formality. All these rules revealed His mind and heart.

It is not us, but God Himself who determines the way and time to serve Him.

If we understand the values of serving as being what God desires, then our ministry will be more impactful and be a blessing. Begin with a question, "What does the Lord want for me?" In this way we minimize our personal will in ministry.

Sometimes our personal ambitions become the motivation of our service. To sanctify our calling, let's continuously build our sensitivity to Him, then our ministries will bless many people and be truly anointed by the Holy Spirit.

Our calling is determined by God. Ask Him for your calling and purpose.
