DAY 1 OF 12

CALLED TO SERVE

Do you know all believers are called to serve? However, not all are called to be full-time and do special service in a church. There are also God's children who are called in the general fields relating to the physical and social welfare of the people.

The important thing is that all believers understand their calling to live a life of truth and to introduce the Kingdom of God to others.

The Lord consecrated the Levites for ministry in the tabernacle, supporting the priestly ministry entrusted to Aaron's family. Therefore, the Levites were not prepared to enter battle but to ensure that the service of the sacred tabernacle, held by the priests, could be carried out properly and correctly.

The ministry of the Levites was arranged, based on their own families. Every family had a special duty in the management of the tabernacle and all its furnishings. This arrangement was intended for helping in the implementation of worship services.

The Israelites at that time had their own respective vocational duties, but all of these tasks had one aim: serving and receiving God's promises that had been determined from the time of Abraham.

In our present life as a body of Christ in a church or as a Christian in general, our call is to introduce the Truth to the world.

There is no limit God's calling, whether we are in the business world, society, or church, our calling is the same: to be a witness of God's love for the world and His desire to rescue us all from death.

Your purpose and calling is your response to what the Lord has planned from the beginning when He created you.
