Faith Facts For Kidsنموونە
Say this faith fact out loud: When I have faith in Jesus, I can give generously.
In the Bible story about the good Samaritan, two men who belonged to the temple saw the wounded man on the side of the road and didn’t even stop to check on him.
What you need to know about the temple is that it’s kind of like the church. It was the place where people worshiped God and learned about Him. Now, wouldn’t you expect someone who belonged to the temple to stop and give their time and money to the wounded man? But they didn’t! If we act like that, we are not showing our faith. Only the good Samaritan was willing to stop, give his time, and pay for the wounded man to get better. When we act like that, we show our faith.
But what if you don’t have any money to pay for other people’s needs? Can you still be generous? Of course! Generosity isn’t really about money—it’s about giving. You can give care, time, and help, like the Samaritan did.
Talk It Over:
Think of someone in your family, your neighborhood, your school, or your church who needs help. What can you do to generously help them?
What do you have that you can give?
