Faith Facts For Kidsنموونە
Say this faith fact out loud: When I do good things, my faith in Jesus shows.
Abraham had a lot of faith in God. So, what good things did Abraham do to show his faith? Abraham believed God when God said he’d have a son. Abraham took care of his son, Isaac, and taught him God’s way.
After a while, though, God told Abraham to do something that didn’t make any sense: He asked Abraham to give Isaac back to Him. God was testing Abraham to see if he had enough faith to obey. Abraham and Isaac went up to the mountain. Abraham put Isaac on the altar. It didn’t seem like a good thing, but Abraham was obeying God in faith. Abraham passed the test, and God told Him to keep Isaac safe and sacrifice a ram, instead.
