Always This or Better: How to Uplevel Your Value and Step Into Your MOREনমুনা

I recently read an article titled Counterfeit Detection by Tim Challies, describing how Secret Service agents are trained to identify counterfeit currency by studying genuine money.

They become skilled in recognizing real money by spending time with it, experiencing it in real-life situations, and feeling it. Essentially, they come in contact with the real thing so often that the counterfeit becomes easily identifiable.

You’ll recognize the real thing the more you spend intimate time with God, experiencing and feeling His presence. When you’re navigating life, you’ll do so more successfully when you know what to look for, which is knowledge gained through prayer—talking to God—and your meditation on His Word—listening to God.

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8

As you spend time with God, His direction becomes more familiar, and you will be able to differentiate His voice.

But do you know what else happens? When you begin measuring everything in your life against the Word of God, your understanding of your value increases, and you begin making choices that are more worthy of your time, your energy, and your resources:

• You make better choices for yourself. You don’t feel hurried or easily rushed. You take time to carefully consider your costs and investment, whether physical, mental, or even financial. You share your terms upfront and calculate the outcomes that would be acceptable. If it doesn’t align, you say no without regrets.
• You’re less concerned about what people think. You might have avoided standing for what was right in the past because you were worried about what people might think. Now, with a deepened sense of value, you stand, understanding that God never leaves you and that He is enough.
• You’re more relaxed because you’ve given control to God. What God is accomplishing in your life exceeds human understanding. You realize that people will elevate up or elevate out, and, either way, you don’t control their actions.
• You receive with expectation. You are so confident that God will do what He says He will do that you are excited, joyful, and have a spirit of expectation, even in the waiting. You expect beautiful, blessed, experiences, and you speak life, knowing that your words produce life.

Increase your value as demonstrated through your choices. God has a deeper awareness for you.

I speak the word with boldness, and God is blessing my words as He has given me a mouth to speak wisdom. God is my strength and shield. I trust Him to empower me to speak His word with belief. I am confident that His Spirit equips me to stand firm and proclaim His truth with courage and faith.
