Always This or Better: How to Uplevel Your Value and Step Into Your MOREনমুনা

In January, God shared that manifestHERdaily would grow significantly, so “growth” became our word for 2025. Shortly thereafter, I was invited to a dinner and presented with an offer regarding the book I’m writing, which is inspired by this Bible app plan. This offer was enticing; it would help establish our new book club, and be something everyone would be excited about.

To be honest, I was open to the offer because it was so much more than I’d ever been offered in the past. My first thought was “I’ve never been presented with anything as good as this.” Then— the counterfeit was revealed. I began asking questions and discovered that the person making this offer believed that Christ was an option for salvation but not the only option. I knew then that this was not the person or the offer God had for me.

How God’s Grace Reveals the Counterfeit

We are saved by God’s grace. Eternally, and repeatedly, in different ways every day.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. . . .” Ephesians 2:8

God’s grace and His salvation are inextricably linked, and, as we established on Day 2, His gift of salvation proves how much He values you.

Acceptance of less than what God has for you diminishes your value, so one way that God saves you from the counterfeit is by revealing whether His grace is present in the situation, person, or offer you’re considering.

God’s grace is not only His unmerited favor, as we are often taught, but it is also the infusion of God's nature into a thing. God’s grace feels like His love. It abounds towards you. It echoes His words. God’s grace represents one of the facets of who God is.

You will know when you are being offered a counterfeit because it will be missing God’s grace. When you experience God’s grace, you are left feeling acutely aware that you just received something that you couldn’t have made happen on your own. It’s beyond what you deserved and what you were even thinking of, and it is so gently offered to you wrapped in His love.

When anything is lacking God’s grace, there is always a striving, a need for control, a dismissal of God’s truths, and a significant lack of knowledge about who God is.

Accepting this or better requires an upleveling of your value. Don’t settle, ask questions. Test the spirit by the spirit. Look for God’s grace. God has so much more in store for you.

I trust in the Lord’s perfect plans for my life—plans filled with hope, prosperity, and a bright future. I walk forward with confidence, knowing that His purpose for me is good and filled with His love and provision. As God establishes this or better for me, I relax and trust Him. My future is in my Father’s hands.
