Resurrection – Day 2

Mary Magdalene and the other women who had followed Jesus had watched as he was laid in the tomb and the massive stone sealed him inside. So when they walked to the tomb to properly attend to his body with burial spices, they wondered who would move the stone. They knew they could never remove that great barrier between them and their Lord.

But Jesus had already done it!

Sin created a massive barrier between us and God, one we could never move on our own. Jesus’s death and resurrection paid our price and removed that barrier forever. Hallelujah!
