Resurrection – Day 1

Mary Magdalene saw the empty tomb. She saw the men in shiny white clothes and heard them say Jesus was alive. Yet, she didn’t believe it. She saw him die, so the idea was impossible. Until she turned around.

Yes, she first thought he was a gardener, but when she realized he was Jesus, everything changed. Her Lord was alive and she clung to him.

Have you ever heard about Jesus and thought it was too good to be true? Maybe Jesus forgave other people, but the things you’ve done are too terrible, too many, so the work Jesus did on the cross couldn’t be enough for you.

Don’t listen to what other people say about him. Don’t take my word for it. Turn directly to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness. The truth may surprise you.
