Pause: A Month of Prayer in Five Minutes a Dayনমুনা
Proclaim
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil. 4:6)
Prompt
When we present our requests to God through prayer, we sometimes think we need to give God a little help fulfilling things.
But only God can provide the breakthrough you need! Never lose sight of this.
Because work is such an integral part of faith, it can sometimes feel like my breakthroughs depend on me. FALSE! It’s ALL in God’s hands.
Yes, you and I need to put in work to see a breakthrough—that’s a key component to discipleship, success, restoration, growth, and all the good things—but in the end, we’re just watering God’s dream and trusting that He’ll make it grow and produce fruit.
Prod
Are you waiting for a breakthrough? What can you do to make sure you keep going while waiting? Write it down. Don’t give up!
Praise

Pray
Jesus, give me the stamina I need to wait for my breakthrough. I trust you will bring it at your best time because you love me. Through the power of your Holy Spirit, I ask that you fill me with FAITH. Help me to remember all your promises are YES and AMEN! Fill me with hope today to wait for you. Amen.

About this Plan
Depression. Loneliness. Comparison. Greed. Addiction. People-pleasing. These are tools of the enemy to steal your calling and rob your joy. In this reading plan, drawn from his book, Lance Lang invites you to neutralize those tools by pausing each day, studying scripture, reading encouragement, taking action, and refocusing your attention on Jesus. Press forward into what God has for you. Press pause.
