Precious Moments That Count For Eternityনমুনা
The Spiritual Workout
For a time, in my life, I had become very complacent, sedentary and lazy in my walk with God. As Christians, we get caught up with the day’s work and forget to exercise the faith and hope that we have in our Lord Jesus Christ. Like getting out and taking a walk or exercising when we feel lazy, it’s important for us to have a spiritual workout when we feel complacent in our faith. This will get our energy levels up for Christ and be encouraged in Him.
Difficult situations can weigh us down, weaken us and discourage us. But we know that we need to be strong by building ourselves up spiritually, through prayer and meditation and the study of scripture. We can also build ourselves up by strengthening ourselves in the Lord just like David did. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God (1 Samuel 30:6b).
As we grow in knowledge, we may also find ourselves growing and connecting more and more with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit takes over when we pray in the Spirit, because we do not understand when we pray in other tongues. The Holy Spirit knows and understands and intervenes on our behalf. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26).
So build up, pray up and look up. Let us work out and grow towards a more committed relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to always be encouraged, never to feel complacent and always strive to keep going onward in our journey with You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
