Precious Moments That Count For Eternityনমুনা
A Happy Ending
I don’t like movies that have a sad ending. I like movies that end on a high note, where the bad guys lose and the good guys get the reward. To me, this verse from the book of Revelation, in many ways, is the fitting climax to the end of history. Almost like the final scene of a movie.
The book of Genesis tells us how God began this story. He created mankind, a bride with whom He desired to spend all of eternity. We see that, in Revelation 19:11, God accomplishes this ultimate purpose of creation. His bride, which is His church (referring to you and me), has made herself ready.
God truly is the Alpha and the Omega; what He has started in our lives, He will finish.
We must live our everyday life with this final scene etched deep in our minds. We must know that the challenges and struggles of today, the hard decisions to follow, and obedience to Jesus in the face of difficulties and persecution are nothing compared to the glory that awaits us. We must rise every day with the confidence that our story has a happy ending and that there is no power in hell that can change that, or keep it from happening.
This truth should help us live our today, in hope, joy, victory and celebration! Quitting or giving up, therefore, can never be an option for us as believers, because we know that by not giving up, we will be partakers of this glorious wedding with the Lamb.
Prayer
Lord, help me to realize that I am called to great glory in You. I ask, therefore, that You help me not to give up. I want to finish well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
